Business Support Administrator
Location: Bishops Stortford 
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our busy and collaborative Business Support Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident navigating systems and processes.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Business Support function and other departments as needed, helping to deliver excellent service to clients while ensuring smooth internal operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimise the CRM system
  • Review job progress and quality, ensuring accurate closure and invoice creation
  • Process engineers’ reports and expenses, checking for discrepancies
  • Manage compliance paperwork and ensure correct certification is shared with clients
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers regarding outstanding invoices
  • Navigate document management systems and escalate invoice queries for approval
  • Ensure timely and accurate job shutdowns for invoicing
  • Monitor client portals and provide compliance reports and certificates
  • Review WIP reports and escalate outstanding items
  • Generate weekly and monthly site activity reports
  • Respond to general enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Escalate invoice queries and obtain necessary work orders
  • Support management with complaint investigations
  • Assist other departments with ad-hoc projects
  • Provide cover for Service Desk and Technical Administration duties when required
