Salary: £13.50 - £14.35 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary (Immediate Start until the end of the year)

Mosaic Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly and well-established local business based in Great Dunmow, who are looking to recruit a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator with excellent attention to detail to support a busy purchasing department during a peak period. The role is expected to run until the end of the year and is fully office-based.
You'll be joining a small, supportive team where your contribution will be valued from day one.
The Role
As Purchasing Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the purchasing function, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and supplier information is maintained.
This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and lead times.
- Update and maintain purchasing records and internal databases.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers where required.
- Assist with supplier queries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems.
- Support the wider office and purchasing team with general administration.
- Ensure information is entered accurately onto internal systems.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a purchasing, procurement or office environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
