Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised, professional Internal Sales Support Administrator to provide essential support to our sales function and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the business.
Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will play a key role in ensuring quotations and orders are processed accurately and efficiently while helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, a customer-focused approach and a real desire to learn and develop in the role.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing, issuing, and accurately recording customer quotations.
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer pricing and product enquiries via telephone and email.
- Processing customer orders accurately from receipt through to completion.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer, supplier, and product information.
- Liaising with the purchasing team to obtain and communicate product availability and lead times.
- Providing administrative support to the wider sales team as required.
- Supporting the delivery of a high standard of customer service at all times.
Essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience handling telephone calls and customer enquiries in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the role.
- Experience using Sage 200, particularly order processing modules.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, such as HubSpot.
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or internal sales environment.
- 22 days annual leave per year (pro rata where applicable).
- Holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
- Annual leave entitlement increases by 1 day for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.
