Description
 This is an office based role with some travel around the Home Counties. 

My client is a well established local business who is continuing their expansion and are looking for a dynamic manager to join them. 

About you:

You will be an experienced Operations Manager  who has exceptional interpersonal and people management abilities, and embodies forward-thinking with a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capability to lead and support your team while proficiently managing various operational tasks as outlined below.

Key responsibilities:
• Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing clients
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
• Experience of managing a P&L/Budget
• Lead and inspire a team of 3 Area Managers whilst supporting indirect team of 40+
• Collaborate closely with the franchise network to ensure smooth communication and cooperation.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and consistently track and report on performance metrics. 
• Scheduling a busy timetable of C1,000 hours per week
• Work with the Training and Development Manager to implement training initiatives for Area Coordinators, ensuring they stay updated on industry trends and coaching methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager
• Foster collaboration with other departments such as marketing, finance, and HR to ensure seamless operations.

Key skills:
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in sports or education sector (2 years minimum);
• Strong communication skills and well-organized with meticulous attention to detail;
• Adept at prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, people-focused environment; • Prior experience in scheduling;
• Exceptional skills in people management and communication with key stakeholders;
• Experienced in budget management and providing relevant financial insights.
