- Description
- Mosaic Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an experienced credit controller, this can be on a part time or full time basis. You will be working for a small family-run business located in Hertfordshire.
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (pro rata for par time hours)
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Proactively chase outstanding invoices through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Negotiate payment terms and settlements with clients while maintaining positive relationships.
- Conduct credit checks on new customers and assess creditworthiness.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and address client queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and improve cash flow management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in a similar small business environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for this position.
