- Description
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Marketing graduate with at least one year's experience within a marketing envioronment. This is a varied role which and duties will involve providing support and assistance to the Marketing Co-ordinator and the wider Marketing Team.
The successful candidate will be working with a friendly local family company they will have the opportunity to be involved in marketing communications, branding, advertising, trade shows, online, promotional items and any other sales and marketing activities in line with the overall marketing strategy.
This would suit a candidate who is enthusiastic, flexible and wanting a career within the Marketing Sector.
Key result areas include:
- Provide support to the Marketing Coordinator in line with the marketing strategy, including marketing communications, branding, advertising, trade shows, online, promotional items, and all other sales and marketing activities.
- Responsible for some in-house design, including catalogue artwork, internal literature, marketing materials, online, and numerous B2B and B2C campaigns.
- Provide assistance with marketing campaign tactics and processes, working closely with Marketing Co-ordinator and external suppliers.
- Assist with providing imagery on request, for internal and external clients and colleagues
- Assist with photoshoots, props, dress sets and manage studio environment.
- Assist with organisation of events including conferences and exhibition, assisting with props and equipment, manage literature, develop flyers and enquiry cards, support stand development and collect material for social media.
- Carry out basic administrative tasks, including maintaining and organising databases, monitoring social media traffic, contributing to website and social media content, sending emails and general communications with inbound and outbound contacts to company protocols and meet deadlines
- Support Marketing Coordinator to raise quotes and purchase orders paperwork for externally sourced services through team
- Maintain company best practice and standards of professionalism.
- Carry out other roles within your capabilities as required by the Marketing Coordinator.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Recognised qualification/degree in marketing
- Experience of working within an office environment, preferably marketing
- Demonstrable skills in all basic elements of marketing
- Results-driven attitude with the flexibility to manage a competing workload effectively.
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing communications, branding, online marketing and advertising highly desirable
- Able to undertake a range of administrative skills, prioritise and manage workload
- Excellent communication skills, accurate with critical attention to detail including grammar and spelling
- Robust time management, planning and organisational skills with flexibility to work with competing deadlines.
- Good/Intermediate IT skills and ideally have basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Able to manipulate copy and images to change artwork, basic layout and production
- Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.
