Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have an immediate requirement for a hardworking and flexible Assistant Accountant for a large global business based in Harlow. This is initially a six month FTC to cover extra workload as a result of company growth from acquisitions. There is a possibility of the contract being extended or even made permanent.
We are looking for someone who has at least 1-2 years’ experience, has an Accounts qualification (or working towards), but most of all has a good attitude to work, is methodical and enjoys problem solving and can work to strict deadlines.
Main accountabilities:
Processing of day to day bank reconciliations
Scanning and sending approval emails to directors so payments can be released
Chasing of approvals so payments are made on time
Run GRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt) report and send to controllers so items can be cleared in SAP
Working as a part of a wider EMEA finance team to ensure consistent processes and systems.
Contributing to best practice within Finance
Additional requirements:
1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts environment
AAT qualification (or working towards)
Good ERP knowledge (Knowledge on SAP is preferable
Good IT skills
Working hours are between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
