Salary: £36,000 per annum
Permanent | Full-Time | Saturdays Required
Mosaic Recruitment is recruiting for a hands-on Facilities & Site Manager to join a small but growing company within the stone and construction sector.
This is not a desk-based Facilities Manager position. We are looking for someone practical and proactive who will take responsibility for ensuring a busy yard, warehouse, offices, machinery and wider site remain safe, maintained, secure and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of the yard, warehouse, offices and external areas.
- Carry out regular site and safety inspections.
- Organise repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Coordinate servicing and repairs of forklifts, lifting equipment and yard machinery.
- Manage external contractors and suppliers, including obtaining quotations.
- Maintain servicing, inspection and maintenance records.
- Support Health & Safety, PPE, fire safety, COSHH and site procedures.
- Oversee CCTV, gates, alarms and general site security.
- Help improve site layout, traffic management and pedestrian safety.
- Coordinate smaller site improvement and maintenance projects.
- Monitor utilities and identify opportunities to control costs.
- Ensure issues are followed through quickly and effectively.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, spots problems and gets things done.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in facilities, site, warehouse, property maintenance or a similar role.
- A practical, hands-on approach.
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
- Good knowledge of workplace Health & Safety.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reliability and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and prioritising your workload.
- Good basic computer skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as part of your normal working week.
