- We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing Insurance team. As a New Business Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by converting enquiries into new policies and building strong relationships with prospective clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey. Key Responsibilities
New Business Sales & Lead Conversion
- Proactively engage with new business leads through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online enquiries.
- Understand clients' insurance requirements and recommend suitable motor insurance products.
- Clearly explain policy features, benefits, terms, and pricing to prospective customers.
- Build rapport and establish trust to maximise sales conversion opportunities.
- Confidently negotiate and overcome objections to secure new business.
- Deliver a professional and consultative sales approach throughout the customer journey.
- Create a positive first impression and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new clients.
- Provide support and guidance throughout the quotation and policy inception process.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless transition of clients following policy inception.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activity.
- Provide regular feedback to management regarding lead quality, market trends, and sales performance.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to overcome objections effectively.

- Previous experience in sales, telesales, insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing environment.
- Competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000, depending on experience.
- Uncapped bonus structure with excellent earning potential Realistic OTE £500-600 per month)
