- This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager with experience within Chemical Production who is seeking a role where they will take overall responsibility for all engineering activities across the site, including the leadership and development of the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive engineering support function to the site, ensuring alignment with EH&S, quality, service, and cost KPIs.
- Ensure plant and equipment operate efficiently to achieve the highest possible levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure the Scheduled Maintenance Plan is executed and accurately documented, including maintenance activities carried out by other departments within the organisation.
- Lead and support the design, development, and installation of new plant and equipment as required to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to agree design criteria and detailed equipment specifications. This includes coordinating required parts, conducting risk assessments, and implementing practical risk reduction measures.
- Demonstrate effective leadership that reflects and supports the company values of innovation, proactivity, ambition and honesty.
