- Description
- We are currently seeking Talent Acquisition Officer who has experience recruiting for a wide variety of Head Office roles within either Internal Talent Department or a Recruitment Agency. The role will involve partnering with Line Managers to promote and develop relationships and ensuring best practice is applied to resourcing, to ensure the delivery and retention of the best talent available. The successful candidate will be confident and capable of working on their own initiative to make decisions and offer advice to recruiting managers.
This role requires a candidate who is available until May, the role will be offered on a hybrid basis with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week, Hours are 9.00 am - 5.30 pm with some flexibility on start and finish times.
Duties
- Manage recruitment of direct hires across all departments within the business.
- Partner with department heads and managers to understand their talent acquisition requirements, leading hiring manager briefing meetings.
- Actively sourcing for candidates by searching and headhunting on LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Professionally reviewing and processing of direct applications.
- Screening of candidates via telephone and zoom.
- Arrange interviews, either on site or remotely, with both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring room availability.
- Send interview confirmations and diary invites to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide consistent and constructive feedback to candidates.
- Work closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure they are informed on the progress of recruitment campaigns.
- Provide regular and proactive updates to Hiring Managers to confirm the progress of recruitment campaigns.
- Advertising jobs on external job boards i.e. LinkedIn and Charity Jobs.
- Work with the HR Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Partner on the offer process.
- Ensure Best Practice is observed at all times, throughout the recruitment process.
Experience
- Experienced of in-house talent acquisition or agency recruitment.
- Experience recruiting for numerous head office functions.
- Structured and organised approach to ensure the efficient management of multiple recruitment campaigns.
- Proactive and solution focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
- Strong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience of using HR systems. (ie SelectHR and Workable).
- Able to work independently with substantial autonomy.
- Responsible for security and confidentiality of personal information.
- Ability to quickly gain and maintain sound knowledge of company HR policies and procedures.
