Job Description:
Assist with all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations. Responsible for the safe handling of goods, and the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products according to customer orders, ensuring products remain undamaged.
Operate mechanical handling equipment such as pallet trucks, lifting tables, and trolleys. Use PCs and PDA scanners for warehouse management and courier shipping systems. Support vehicle loading for both the company fleet and external couriers. Perform any additional warehouse duties as requested by supervisors or management to meet customer and company requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and manual handling
- Proficient in order picking, packing, and shipping
- IT literate, familiar with warehouse management systems and courier shipping software
- Experience working with courier services (e.g., DPD, DX)
- Basic knowledge of UK geography
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in small teams
- Understanding of health and safety compliance
37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 (1-hour lunch)
- Friday: 08:00 – 16:00 (30-minute lunch)
