- Mobile Electrical & Metering Engineer
Our client in Bishops Stortford is a well-established organisation providing onsite data collection and energy reporting. This role is to install, maintain and audit data collection equipment & infrastructure.
Assisting assisting electrically qualified staff. Delivering energy monitoring and billing solutions across the UK.
Working as part of a team you will have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers. A desire to learn and gain qualifications and knowledge to develop skills to improve your work performance.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding different types of metering equipment
- Installation of final circuits
- Installation of data collection equipment
- Installation of smart metering equipment
- Ability to manage own workload (self-sufficient)
- Site surveys for new and existing sites
- Customer facing & communication
- Equipment testing and auditing
- Accurate recording of information and results
- Using I.T and industry specific equipment daily
- Willingness to learn / develop new skills and qualifications
The Role:
- Head Office: Bishop Stortford
- Job Location: London & UK
- Hours Per Week: 40 Monday - Friday
- Start time: 8am (on site)
- Role Type: Permanent
- Reporting to: Engineering Manager
- Occasional UK travel / overnight stays required
- Primarily Residential / Commercial site work
- Some building site work
