- We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join a local and well-established company on a 24-month FTC.
Due to ongoing expansion in China, they are looking for someone to work on their China Programme, reporting to the Programme Director. You will be a self-starter with plenty of initiative who is able to undertake all day to day running of the project.
The programme is headed up by the CFO and you will be responsible for the project planning, reporting, risk management and administration for the programme. You will engage with all stakeholders as well as the Department for Business & Trade from the UK Government and their Chinese Counterparts.
You will interact via WeChat which is the Chinese equivalent of WhatsApp for marketing purposes and also be looking at products to go out to the China marketing and how they can be translated.
You will need to have come from a similar background and be flexible on your working times as some meetings with China will start at 8:00 am UK time. This is a hybrid role with one to two days per week spent at the offices in Hertford. It will be a bonus if you are a Chinese speaker, but it is not essential.
