- An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Assistant.
The post of the Payroll Assistant is a part time role and involves working 22.5 hours per week but must be committed to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Flexibility regarding the working pattern will be considered on a case by case basis in relation to the requirements of the department.
PAYROLL EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Pro rated 22.5 Hours
Payroll duties:
- Assist the Payroll manager with the preparation of processing of the site's payroll, including all required reports and related administration. i.e posting to accounts and reconciliations.
- Resolve internal & external queries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate payroll records for employees, starters leavers and contractual changes
- Processing changes and reporting on statutory deductions
- Assist with the correct processing and reporting for the company's pension scheme
- Assist the payroll manager with annual pension returns, all required HMRC returns, P11D expenses and benefits and annual finance audit.
- Deputising for the Payroll Manager as required
Person Specification:
Experience with an industry standard payroll systemExperience in payroll reconciliations and reportingProficient in Microsoft/G SuiteExcellent written and communication skillsExcellent customer Service SkillsExperience in a busy environment with a multiple of concurrent deadlinesGood level of education to GCSE standard
