- This role is for an assistant software developer within the IT Team, assisting with the migration of a legacy MS Access database to Salesforce CRM, and supporting the development of the front-end web applications.
The client is under-taking a digital transformation project which is fundamental to the continued success of the business and designed to
- Consolidate the IT systems which underpin the business
- Increase the quality, accessibility, and use of data across the organisation.
The IT Team are currently a team of three providing project management, system design, development, testing, and support to the client.
The role is required for a period of three to six months, on a contractor-basis.
- Assist with the development of dependable and performant web applications and components which meet the required specifications and design and integrate with existing systems
- Create migration scripts and routines to accurately transfer data between systems (primarily from MSSQL to Salesforce CRM).
- Create reporting functionality to enable the delivery of on-demand data to the client Teams and External Stakeholders.
- Create and execute unit tests and system testing scripts to test new systems, functionality, and data.
- Provide application support and bug fixes where necessary.
- Documentation of systems and processes
- Develop data management processes to ensure data is consistently kept up to date.
- Develop dashboards showing overall data performance
- Provide ad-hoc reports and data analysis internally and for external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the current IT Team to ensure projects are running to-specification, on-budget, and on-schedule.
- Previous experience working with C# .NET Core web apps in an Azure environment as a software developer

- Knowledge and experience of working with Salesforce CRM, including REST API integration and data migration

- Proven experience in working with large data sets, both from the perspective of data import/translation and segmenting these as required to provide data insight
- Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Slack, Miro, and Jira
- Experience of the development React web apps and user interfaces
- Experience of working with data visualisation concepts and tools
- Experience of CSS layout and design, including Bootstrap
