- Description
- We are looking for an experienced part qualified or finalist Financial Accountant to provide timely, accurate and reliable management information including but not limited to the Financial Statements and monthly Management Accounts. Responsible for the daily management, reconciliation and posting of financial transactions and providing support to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
Finance
- Maintain financial master data in the ERP system
- Assist with the management of currency hedging transactions
- Reconciliation and posting of payments due from customers, payments due to suppliers and other vendors
- Process the travel expense report for all employees for payment
- Continuously review and challenge existing procedures to improve efficiency
- Deputy of the Financial Controller in the daily business
- Manage accounts payables and receivables on a daily basis
- Create, review and enter journal entries
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and related reports
- Review the regular monthly journals for the management accounts
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed every month
- Monthly calculation and submission of all Payroll data to outsource provider including bonuses/deductions
- Weekly reconciliation of all bank accounts and completion for the month-end financials
- Complete and submit Vat returns on or before due dates
- Ensure all government statistical returns are completed and submitted as required
- Assist with all year-end Audit procedures and reconciliations
- Coordinate payments to suppliers, employees and other stakeholders through the corporate shared service group and/or outsourced payroll/pension providers
- Coordinate and manage inter group transactions
- Document relevant internal controls over financial reporting for corporate functions, as necessary
- Directly assist subsidiaries and other departments to document relevant internal controls over financial reporting for their respective functions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Part qualified or finalist CCAB qualification/related undergraduate business Study degree
- High company affinity
- Good communication skills in both speech and writing
- Intermediate/advanced skills with the MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook)
- Ability to work within a team
- Diligence, Accuracy and detail orientated
