- Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Business Solutions Project Manager to join a large and progressive organisation, as an integral member of the IT Team. Responsibilities include managing and leading business change and IT related projects and liaising with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be working with the key business users to define the project objectives, scope and requirements through to testing, implementation, go live and service transition activities. They will also create relevant project documentation to support the project process ensuring key business change are considered including communications, training and handover to BAU. As a Business Solutions Project Manager, you will have an excellent aptitude towards change, be innovative and flexible with a strong desire to create new and improved processes which are designed around creating an excellent customer experience whilst being highly efficient thus supporting the teams in achieving their targets. You will work with the PMO team to help and support the improvement of our project processes within the department and ensure these are followed during the project management lifecycle
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience required
- Accredited or equivalent professional qualification in project management e.g. PRINCE2 or Agile
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an IT/Business Solution project management background
- A proven track record of successfully implementing business/IT projects across multifunctional teams
- Strong understanding of developing and deploying custom functionality in MS Dynamics
- Strong understanding of developing and deploying integrated eCommerce solutions
- Excellent communications skills at all levels including verbal and written
- Excellent planning and organisations skills with the ability to manage competing demands
- Strong facilitator
- Strong stakeholder management
- Knowledge of SAP, BI reporting tools MS Dynamics CRM and data management desirable
- Understanding of GDPR principles
Key Results Areas
- Accountability for milestone tracking, critical success factors and resource allocation
- Proactively manage all risks, issues, constraints, assumptions, and dependencies
- Understand business needs/requirements and interpret into potential solutions and processes in
- collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
- Work with IT team colleagues to manage and deliver system developments and IT functional changes
- when required
- Produce Weekly and Monthly reporting and attend Project Delivery Reviews
- Organise and facilitate key project meetings with the business and IT team
- Work collaboratively within the PMO to improve project management process that span across IT as well as business change
- Establish clear understanding, expectations, and involvement of key stakeholders building trust and operating with integrity
- Managing the UAT process with key business users
- Defining clear training and communications plans for projects
