- Mosaic Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Analyst to join a leading global organisation based in Cambridge. Our client is looking for someone who is technically minded, proficient at systems and tools in use with the commercial ecosystem and have a grasp of current commercial technology trends.
The Business Support Analyst bridges the gap between commercial business and technology and serves as the key liaison across the EMEA Commercial functions to the Global Commercial Technology and IT functions. They will work with internal customers to improve digital systems and extract more value from existing Digital Commercial Platform tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures capability improvement pipeline process is followed across regional teams and functions
- Ensures enhancement requests are conform to regional data standards and identify process improvements and training/support needs
- Works with regional commercial teams to ideate and implement ad-hoc technology that meet small scale operating needs
- Scouts for new technologies and best-practices by networking and participating to relevant conferences
- Maintains inventory of all tools and systems in operation across the EMEA commercial team and escalates opportunities to Global Commercial Operations and GIS.
- Be the go-to person for coordinating regional input into Global for new technology evaluation, alignment, and governance.
- Serves as main point of contact and manages relationships with external vendors for local tools and applications.
- Works with Global Commercial Technology team to plan and roll out capability enhancements to the region.
- Secure regional UAT resources, communicate commitment and ensure testing is executed with Process Team.
- Maintains list of all UAT/SME resources within region, tracking level of effort, project progression and time requirements.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, with a background and skills in business or operations, as well as technology or engineering.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in identifying and reviewing technologies, understanding their implications and making recommendations on how best to employ them in conjunction with operational processes and organizational structures.
- Must be a clear thinker and able to articulate business benefits of technology in line with commercial strategy and/or process improvement.
- The candidate will be comfortable in a fast paced, high demand environment, where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount to success.
- Experience communicating and presenting to management at all levels would be preferred
