Job description
This is a lovely opportunity for someone with 8-4.30 Monday to Thursday and a 4pm finish on a Friday, excellent holiday and benefits also accompany this role.
You will be providing on site and remote 1st line support and dealing with hardware issues.
Daily Tasks:
· Ensuring the overnight backups run and backup all required information
· Checking schedule PCs to ensure morning / checking overnight reports
· Checking scheduled overnight / morning jobs have run on the Windows & IBM iSeries servers
· Sending EDI Invoices
· Monitoring EDI orders received for errors and resolving with sales
· Release day books, credit notes and invoices.
· Monitoring Sophos Anti-virus & firewall for issues
Weekly:
· Move invoices to the GBE_Prism queue and release
Monthly:
· Update DailyTotal/DailyOrderAnalysis scheduled reports to the current month.
· Release statements to the GBE_Prism queue for the first Monday of the month.
· Adjust the date of the Intel month end job to the relevant date.
· Move the relevant Intel and iSeries month end VTL tapes to the vault and then export to the relevant physical tape
General Tasks:
· Providing first line support to our users both local and remote including support on Windows, Office, Aurora System 21 ERP, Epicore WMS etc.
· Maintaining / upgrading our PCs & installing upgrades, replacement components when required
· Maintaining / installing the software on our PCs e.g. Windows, Office etc.
· Creating user profiles for new users on Windows, WMS & the telephone system, then setting up the relevant user profile on their PC / WMS handheld
· Replacing printer toners, performing basic maintenance when needed & arranging maintenance & support calls when issues arise
Must have:
· Must be experienced with building & maintaining PC systems
· Installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows 10 & Server 2016
· Experienced with Microsoft Office both installing & supporting
· Experience supporting users with Windows & Office software and general PC issues in a Windows Active Directory network environment

· Adobe Creative Suite
· Infor System 21 Aurora ERP System
· Epicore Agility Warehouse Management System
· Microsoft SQL Server / basic SQL queries
· Microsoft Exchange 2016
· IBM iSeries operator level support
· Knowledge of Avaya IP500 Phone System
· VMware administration / server management
· Sophos Threat Management Suite
