• Be the first point of contact for internal staff of the IT service and ensure that their computer/software related issues are logged on the helpdesk system and fixes are applied
• Keep staff updated with progress of the fix
• Act as a point of contact with external hardware and system providers
• Maintain a log of issues that users experience with any computer hardware, software or associated equipment or service.
• Configure and install computer hardware and software.
• Configure and maintain user accounts via AD and 365.
• Keep inventory records of computer consumables, software, hardware and associated equipment.
• Carry out any duties necessary to ensure the continual smooth running of the IT service and activities.
You will ideally be -
• Competent in the setup and basic problem solving of networked PCs, printers and associated hardware.
• Proficient in the configuration of users, groups, PC’s, and printers in an Active Directory/Exchange Domain.
• Have a working knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets, printers and peripherals
