This is an exciting project role for someone with either a finance/procurement or public sector background who is looking to get their first project role or build on their existing skills.
It is a contract until the end of June when the project is due to finish and can be fully remote, they will also consider applications for part time hours.
To project manage and coordinate the successful delivery of a Community Renewal project :
To facilitate, project manage and coordinate the delivery of a community renewal funded project. You will be working with bid documentation, funding requirements, project time scales, budget and grant allocations and all other regulatory requirements.
To be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project records including databases, monitoring and evaluation systems, cash flows and expenditure against budget.
Co-ordinate and administer the project steering group, attend progress meetings, stakeholder meetings, site meetings and any others required.
Design and implement appropriate systems and processes to administer the project
Work with colleagues and delivery partners to maintain adequate records and statistics to satisfy government and corporate requirements and provide reports and analysis as required.
To ensure that project financial claims are accurate and submitted on time
Contribute to the development and writing of funding applications
Undertake promotional activities regarding the projects both internally and externally including drafting press releases, utilising social media and engaging / liaising with colleagues.
