We have an excellent opportunity for a bright and keen individual to join the Export Sales and Marketing team for a growing company with ambitious plans.

Working alongside the Export Sales & Marketing Manager you have the opportunity to develop and get involved in all the export transactions, particularly in the Middle East.  You will be responsible for processing sales orders and liaising between customers, supply chain, inhouse production team and shipping agents to ensure efficient deliveries.  You will also be involved in working on specific projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and processing customer orders on SAP
• Checking stock availability
• Check stock and arrange couriers for sample orders
• Print pick notes for the warehouse team
• Issue Export Shipping documentation, invoices, certificate or origin and check packing list
• Open order report review – lead time updates
• Plan monthly dispatch plan for export orders
• Have regular contact with customers both telephone/email inbound/outbound
• Submit product documents for prequalification in projects
• Support marketing activities.

Person Specification

• Good level of education 5 - GCSE’s A-C including Math’s and English or equivalent
• Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Customer service skills
• Good level of IT literacy - SAP
• Previous export experience an advantage
