Based on the Herts/Essex borders my client is a fast growing dynamic business at the forefront of their industry, the finance time are a centre of excellence for the other sites across the UK.

Duties:

• Direct the financial accounting processes under IFRS during month  and year-end:
• Ensure that the monthly accounts, journals ETC are prepared, completed and complaint. Have an appetite for process improvements.
• Check and prepare when needed month end accruals, prepayments, and support stock accounting and adjustments.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with intercompany processes, revenues and cost reporting.
• Working within ERP/Accounting system(s).
• Managing teams to utilise staff expertise during moth end or other projects.
• Provide support to upper and lower reporting line.
• Assist with annual processes:
• Support with annual budgeting.
• Accrued/deferred income review.
• Project related work including reviewing WIP, Capital investment and reviewing of fixed assets.
• Knowledgeable in VAT, sub-leases, IR35 CIS compliance for investment property, cash flow forecasting and Capital investment projects.

Qualifications

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Essential:

• Solid understanding of IFRS or/and GAAP
• Experience of ERP and Accounting systems
• Financial Accounting experience including month end/year end
