We are working with a globally recognised organisation who are currently recruiting for an organised and outgoing individual to join their offices in Hatfield as an Events Coordinator.
Joining this well-established company, you will work alongside the Events Executive and other relevant departments to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Events team. As well as this, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and management to a high level for both internal and external events.
You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. My client can offer you a very competitive salary which will be dependent on level of experience. You will be entitled to the following benefits:

Responsibilities of Events Coordinator
- Collate all legal documentation including; contracts, disclaimers, insurance and terms and conditions
- Check details of proposed events and obtain approval as required
- Maintain the Events inbox and diary
- Keeping accurate records and maintaining internal systems
- Procure event merchandise stock as required
- Ensure accurate, timely post event reporting, to include cost comparison analysis
- Create and develop systems and processes for monitoring and reporting
- Own and maintain ISO procedures and documentation
- Collate information for proposed events from sales staff and assist them in creating event forms
- Assist and support in all aspects of event planning in line with budget
- Arrange travel and accommodation for all events
- Challenge as appropriate and apply best practive with regards to cost, value and/or compliance
- Create event packs (name badges etc.)
- Create confirmation itineraries, arrange tickets and delegate queries
- Attend events when required and ensure event runs smooth and to plan
- Develop internal and external relationships in order to achieve highest level of service
- Undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested by Senior Management
- Complete monthly progress review forms on all activities and attend monthly one to one meetings
- Complete administrative duties on behalf of the Events team
Previous Experience and Competencies of Events Coordinator
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Previous customer service experience and the ability to provide a fantastic service
- IT literate and competent user of Microsoft packages
- A problem solver who work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable
- Administration experience – required
- Events coordination experience – desirable
