We have a new opportunity that has become available for our client who are based in Harlow.
This is a part time role (18.75 hrs per week) and you will be required to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and all day Friday (or at least until 2:45/3pm). You must be flexible to change hours to be in for full day on last working day and 1st or 2nd working day of each month if normal working hours do not fall on those days.
Duties to include:
- Assist Financial Controller
- Manage part-time Accounts Assistant and cover her duties when she’s not in (i.e. inputting invoices, taking calls from creditors, posting cash, etc.)
- Responsibility for Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Preparing payment runs
- Checking expenses and petty cash claims
- Credit control
- Creditor liaison
- Monthly and weekly reporting internally, to head office and to HMRC
- Audit assistance at year-end
- Provide intercompany figures to Financial Controller monthly & agree intercompany reconciliations
- Reconciliations
- Assist other departments (if all accounts duties complete)
You must be experienced in credit control, purchase and sales ledger and supervisory / management of staff. Excel to a good standard. At least part-qualified desirable but relevant experience will also be considered.
