Mosaic Recruitment are delighted to be working with an employer of choice who are looking for a Project Manager to join their offices in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage and coordinate OEM projects for a major supplier.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for project delivery towards the customer including documentation, timing and coordination of development with factories, encompassing both commercial and supply chain elements
- Communication with the parent factories, local engineers, commercial contacts and customer project teams
- Lead and organise project teams, manage project meetings internally and with customers
- Understand the requirements and manage each project phase as necessary
- Manage change requests, feature rollout and software delivery to the customer and maintain customer issue tracking systems
- Represent the company development interests towards the customer and ensure that their intentions, expectations and ideas are communicated to development engineers, using local knowledge of the customer and the market to ensure communication relevant and an accurate reflection
- Supporting activities relating to the departments QMS and IATF requirements
- Support new business development opportunities and sales promotion activities
Essential Competencies Required:
- Project management experience
- Understanding of the automotive product development process
- Understanding of electrical/electronic and/or mechanical components or processes
- Proven automotive experience
- Working knowledge of the import and export process
- Proficient IT skills – notably in Microsoft packages
- Exceptional analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Driven to work in a fast paced, pressured, customer focused industry
- Be professional, confident, motivated and proactive
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the UK and overseas
Desired Competencies:
- Degree (or equivalent) or related industry qualification would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of MRP software
- Knowledge of SharePoint system
