Project coordinator
Salary: £35k
Type: Fixed term contract £35k
Duration: 6-9 Month’s
Location: Harlow
A client of ours is developing at a rapid rate and needs someone who has experience in project management and delivering IT solutions.
To project manage the implementation of an improved knowledge base solution to be used internally for managing customer enquiries and applications and to support the training and development of new recruits.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with staff across the organisation to understand the key requirements for the intended user base.
- Liaise with IT to gain knowledge of our current and future infrastructure and system strategy to ensure any proposed solution is viable.
- Research and investigate suitable software / delivery methods.
- Create options appraisal documentation for presentation at the IT Project Steering Group.
- Work with third party suppliers where appropriate.
- Manage overall project plan through to launch.
- Work with Learning and Development team to design and test the solution.
- Work with the Learning and Development team to communicate and train users.
- Create support material for users and administrators of the solution.
Experience and Capabilities Profile
Essential
- Previous Project Management experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
- Ability to research, analyse and present information with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues in a clear and concise way.
- A logical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Prince2 Foundation or Practitioner.
- Previous experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of e-learning / e-support.
- Knowledge of developing / administering databases and web based applications.
- Previous experience working with Customer Relationship systems.
Desirable
The role is based in Harlow with occasional travel to business meetings at supplier and stakeholder locations.
