Description

Mosaic Recruitment are looking for a Qualified Finance Manager to join a dynamic, progressive and expanding family run business on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will be managing the accounts function at Head Office and will have had exposure to management accounts and cash flow forecasting.

The Role

  • Supervision of the accounts team
  • Responsibility for the production of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Maintaining weekly cash flow forecasts for review with MD
  • Preparation of budgets and reforecasts as required by the business
  • Production and issuance of monthly sales and product sales reports
  • Responsibility for and administration of the businesses online banking
  • Management of the company’s exchange risk, responsibility for processing forward spot transactions to overseas suppliers
  • Production and submission of the quarterly VAT returns
  • Management and full review of the weekly and monthly payroll process, working closely with the external payroll company
  • Management of the company’s invoice financing facility, working closely with our finance provider to submit reports as required
  • Responsibility for admin duties, including the addition of new users, closing periods, updating exchange rates etc.
  • Being the main contact for all government agencies and external stakeholders such as the bank and accountant
  • Active involvement in the upcoming system transfer, ensuring all migrated data is accurate
  • Working closely with the Procurement Team to manage payments to overseas suppliers

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role with exposure to management accounts and cash flow forecasting
  • A can-do approach to tasks and willingness to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Possesses accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables/V Lookups etc)

The salary being offered is £50,000 - £55,000, pro rata, dependant on experience.
