We are currently working with a very well-established organisation who are currently recruiting for a Projects Development Coordinator to join their modern offices in Hatfield.
Joining this dynamic and progressive company, you will research, identify and qualify new projects on behalf of the company to enhance business opportunities.
You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. My client can offer you a very competitive salary which will be dependent on level of experience. You will also be entitled to the following benefits:

The successful candidate will also be eligible for the company commission scheme.
Responsibilities:
- Track existing projects through the entire project lifecycle from tender to order
- Seek new business opportunities on behalf of the company that are at early stages
- Establish and communicate supply chain information on projects throughout the UK
- Build relationships and rapport with construction contacts, quantity surveyors, developers and contractors throughout the UK
- Help provide project intelligence and information to customer base
- Extensive networking at internal and external events and seminars
- Research and develop business within upcoming, relevant projects
- Work closely with and support all sales departments to build on market position
- Learn and remain up to date with all aspects of the construction industry i.e. RIBA stages 0-7
- Provide the necessary reports to support performance measurements to Project Development Manager
- Attend and participate in regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Remain up to date in all aspects of training and development
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience in development new business and relationships (either face to face or over the phone) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable but not essential
- IT literate and competent user of all Microsoft packages
- A self-motivated, driven, confident and ambitious individual
- A professional, personable and assertive approach
- Analytical with excellent attention to detail
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Brilliant business sense, commercial awareness and negotiation skills
