We are working with a globally recognised organisation who are currently recruiting for a temporary Aftersales and Customer Service Advisor to join their team in Manchester. This position is on a long-term, ongoing basis.
Joining this well-established company, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Customer Services team and handle enquiries relating to product queries, spare parts and product returns via telephone and email.
You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor
- Act a first point of contact for Customer Service team via telephone and email
- Processing of spares orders
- Handle customer queries in an effective and efficient manner
- Administration of warranty claims
- Process orders and return requests on behalf of customers
- Provide proof of delivery when requested by customers
- Manage customer back orders and update them regularly
- Validate warranty claims
- Ensure you are regularly updating the database with customer interaction
- Organise collection of faulty product from customer to workshop
- Build relationships with customers and regularly update them on status of order or repair
Previous Experience and Competencies of Customer Service Advisor
- A background in Customer Service and/or Administration is highly desirable
- Competent user of IT equipment and Microsoft packages
- A self-motivated, adaptable and positive outlook
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over phone and by email
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
