- Description
We are currently working with a very well-established organisation who are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join their friendly offices in Hatfield. This is a part-time position on a 12-month contract.
You will work 3 days per week between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm (21 hours). My client is flexible on the days worked but it is preferred that you work a 3 day block. They can also offer you a salary of up to £28,000 per annum (pro-rata) dependent on experience. You will also be entitled to the following benefits:

Duties of the HR Assistant:
Joining this dynamic and progressive company, you will assist in all areas of the HR process.
- Respond to employees’ and managers’ requests for information or refer to relevant member of staff
- Monitor HR inbox in absence of HR Administrator
- Deal with all incoming HR queries
- General administration such as filing and answering telephone calls
- Assist with adhoc projects and communications
- Support all employee relations such as low risk grievance, investigation and disciplinary hearings
- Prepare outcome correspondence in liaison with HR BP and Senior BP
- Process reports
- Input all absence including sickness, compassionate leave and amend annual leave where required
- Liaise with Senior Manager in relation to more serious/long-term sickness
- Follow-up all absence reports to ensure receipt of appropriate documentation
- Maintain all documentation relating to the Bradford Factor and circulate reports to management
- Deal with flexible working requests
- Provide support to employees
- Provide support to Line Manager in meetings
- Provide all administration for Management Development Programme
- Coordinate HR Training programmes
Previous Experience and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Confidence to advise and support Line Managers with ‘low risk’ issues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of Sage, Snowdrop or other HR databases
- Experienced in Excel to intermediate level
