We currently have an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in Hatfield as an Events Coordinator.
My client is looking for a committed, outgoing and driven individual to join their busy department. You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm and be eligible for the following benefits:- Free parking on site

Main Purpose of the Role:Working alongside the Events Executive and other relevant departments in the business to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Events Team. You will oversee all aspects of event planning and management to a high level for both internal and external events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all budget and compliance when planning events
- Support sales staff by creating event forms
- Collate all legal documentation such as; contracts, disclaimers, insurance, terms and conditions etc.
- Check details of proposed events and obtain approval where required
- Maintain busy events inbox and diary management
- Keeping accurate records and maintaining internal systems
- Procure event merchandise as required
- Create accurate, timely post event reports including cost comparison analysis
- Assist in the creation and development of systems and process for monitoring and reporting
- Own and maintain Event Team ISO procedures and forms
- Gain and collate information for initial proposed events from sales staff
- Complete all aspects of event planning in line with budget
- Arrange travel and accommodation for all events
- Challenge as appropriate and apply best practice with regards to cost, value and/or compliance
- Create event packs and name badges etc.
- Create confirmation itineraries, arrange tickets and delegate queries where appropriate
- Attend events when required and ensure they run smoothly and to plan
- Develop internal and external relationships in order to achieve best practice and service
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Senior Management
- Complete monthly progress review forms on all activities and attend monthly on to one meetings
Key Skills and Competencies:- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be IT literate and a competent user of Microsoft packages
- Personal attributes should include: positivity, resilience, personable nature and calm when under pressure
- Ability to manage time, multi-task and meet deadlines set
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Project management experience – highly desirable
- Previous administrative experience – advantageous
- Events coordination experience – highly advantageous
- Ability to work affectively both individually and as part of a team
