Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Trainer to join the Hoddesdon site who have established themselves as the "Lean Leader" for the company globally.

Initially on a 12 month FTC to cover Maternity this role is likely to expand over time and could become a global role for an ambitious person.

Under the supervision and coaching from the site Master Black Belt you would help create a world class operation through the training and development of the Hoddesdon site staff.

With previous experience of delivering the Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) level 2 qualification (or above) you will be part of the Hoddesdon operations team where you will play a key role in delivering their centre of excellent vision.  This will include:

  • To take the BIT level 2 model as the basis from which to create a set of bespoke training materials and assessed coaching programme.
  • Deliver the programme to the Hoddesdon staff.
  • Assist with the delivery of assessed CI projects around the site.  This is a hands on role where the staff will be coached in the application of the learned tools and techniques.
  • Assess the projects and accredit the learners to the in-house certification standards.

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous experience of delivering the Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) level 2 qualification or above.
  • Laboratory/scientific experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • The ability to teach and coach staff in the basic CI techniques is essential.
  • An A1 qualified assessor is preferred but is not essential as the emphasis is on skills transfer rather than assessment.
  • A self-starter, able to deliver improvement programmes to deliver strategic objectives.
  • A good influencer and communicator.
  • Highly structured and organised.
  • An innovative thinker.
  • A completer finisher.
  • Persistent, with an eye for detail and a quality mind set.
