We currently have an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in Hatfield as an Account Manager. This role is an initial Maternity Cover contract, which we envisage will be for a duration of 12 months.


My client is looking for an ambitious, dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join their busy department. They can offer you a salary of up to £24,000 per annum dependent on experience and you will also be eligible for the commission scheme which will be discussed once you progress through the interview stages.


You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm and be eligible for the following benefits:

Responsibilities of Account Manager:

 

The main focus of the position is to manage a database of key accounts, building long-lasting relationships whilst increasing their average spend.

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with your customer base by making regular contact via telephone
  • Increase customer spend frequency
  • Be the main point of contact for yours customers and their queries
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set
  • Upsell where possible
  • Process customer quotes
  • Ensure your customer database is well maintained and regularly updated
  • Assist with customer delivery and order queries
  • Work closely with external sales team to develop your area


Previous Experience and Competencies of Account Manager:

  • Customer service experience is essential
  • IT literate and competent user of all Microsoft packages
  • Self-motivated, driven, personable and resourceful
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
