We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Accounts Assistant to join a well established and leading organisation based in Brighton.
Job Purpose:
To assist in the preparation and completion of service charge year end reporting on both commercial and residential portfolios. To assist with the implementation of annual service charge budgets on both commercial and residential portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Producing detailed expenditure reports and corrections of posting errors
Distributing reports to relevant property managers and raising any relevant queries
Where applicable, and once any queries have been resolved, distributing the reports to audit
Posting of prepayments and accruals
Continual monitoring of year end status, keeping an accurate record of the progress
Responding to further auditor queries
Distribution of confirmed accounts to relevant property manager
Finalisation of accounts and turning over of the period
Person Specification:
Accounting Skills
Must have experience within Property Management and/or Service Charge reconcilliation
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in using MS Excel & MS Word documents
Knowledge or experience of using MRI/Qube software
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
