- Description
We have an excellent opportunity for detail orientated Administrator to join the Product Development department of a well-established professional organisation.
With excellent IT and proof reading skills you will provide co-ordination and administrative support to the product
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Creating Product Documentation and co-ordination of online assessment system content
- Support authors / product specialists with formatting and presenting documents
- Use available software to produce final version error free documents for publication
- Proof read and house style documents to meet quality standards
- Meet deadlines for delivering documentation
- Develop templates and guidance to support document authors / products specialists in their work
- Maintain file systems to enable easy navigation and access to files and documentation
- To coordinate, update and maintain online test question banks.
- Use Systems and website to support product delivery and Grading
- Setting up systems to support product delivery to the end user
- Creation of online tests and ensuring their correct configuration
- Set up contractor (author) arrangements ensuring all required documentation is completed, signed and logged – ensure author inductions are completed and support the payment process for them.
- Organise steering and expert working groups as well as internal/external meetings – including venue arrangements, stakeholder engagement, taking minutes
Education/Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
- Educated to level 3 with grade C GCSE in Math’s and English or equivalent
- Excellent IT skills including advanced level in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of attention to detail and proof reading skills
- Proven experience of working in an administrative/co-ordination role
- Good organisation, time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good customer service skills
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
This role is working Monday to Friday 35 hours per week and is office based although may involve occasional travel within the UK.
