A fantastic client of ours who are well-known within their industry are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their expanding team.
You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm. Our client can offer you a starting salary of £20k - £22k.

- To create and manage long-term, trusting relationships with our customers through regular contact
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop business from existing clients
- Support external sales team as key point of contact at Head Office
- Build relationships with lapsed customers and look at ways you can encourage return business
- Meet customer expectations and establish how we can mould our service to meet their needs
- Book telephone appointments with customers to keep in touch and gain feedback on how we can improve our services
- Actively gain more information about companies and acquire the contact details of other department decision makers
- Maintain communication via email correspondence and mailers
- To generate prices/quotations for the customer and actively follow-up
- Cross sell additional products to customers
- Help generate leads and book appointments for external Area Managers
- Work closely with Telesales and Customer Services to ensure all goods are ordered and arrive on time without issue
- Work co-operatively with customers to save money and increase repeat business
- Update system regularly to ensure all details are up to date
- Send spend reports to customers and anything else they may require i.e. invoices
- Propose and/or actively contribute to company projects as required
Required Experience:
- Account Management experience necessary
- Sales experience advantageous
- Experience of B2B outbound calls desirable
