Description

An innovative and creative client of ours is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join their Sponsorship team. This is the opportunity to join a fun and creative company in Loughton, Essex. A leader in their industry, they manage high profile events and magazine publications.

The perfect candidate will be a committed individual who has experience in sponsorship and/or live events. You will be a driven individual who is confident approaching big brands, able to manage your own workload and confident in pitching and presenting.  

You will work Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:15pm but will be flexible in working outside of these hours. This is an amazing opportunity to join a company that are the best at what they do so you will be required to attend events on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying relevant brands for relevent events - making contact and factfinding to secure face to face meetings 
  • Professionally represent a specific event and be knowledgable when promoting it 
  • Confidently approaching decision makers at all levels and successfully building relationships 
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for face to face meetings
  • Securing sponsorship and preparing substantial revenue generating packages to deliver to your client
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved - it is your responsibility to build your own portfolio 
  • Ensure expected call rates are achieved consistently (60 minutes per day – 5 days per week)
  • Develop and grow the existing client base and spend
  • Actively and intelligently seek new business
  • Act as first point of contact for all of your clients and ensure their needs are met
  • Be present at all events that you work on, irrespective of the fact they may overlap into a weekend

Key Skills and Competencies 

  • Previous experience in a similar sponsorship role or working on live events/exhibitions/conferences
