We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join an excellent and very well-established client who are based in Hatfield. This is a temporary 3-month contract role to cover illness but could go on longer.
Our client can offer you a salary of up to £24,000 on a pro-rata basis. This is dependent on experience.

An immediate start would be highly desirable to help support the team.
THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT:
Processing of orders or enquiries by phone, email and SAP.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT:
- Ordering/processing orders using SAP and ensured correct discounts are applied
- Handling of incoming telephone enquiries
- Stock checking and chasing
- Price checks on behalf of clients
- Investigate the returns of faulty and non-faulty products
- Authorising returns
- Dealing with picking errors and damages
- Handling invoice and credit queries
- Support the external sales teams and their requests
- Administration on behalf of the team
- Understand and comply with all relevant company policies
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT:
- Previous customer service experience
- Administration and general office experience
- IT literate and competent user of Microsoft packages
- Self-motivated, driven and methodical individual
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
