We have a great new opportunity that has become available for a Marketing Executive with our client who are based near Bishop’s Stortford.
This is a 12 month contract and for the right candidate, could develop into a permanent role.

The successful candidate will have a proven background within all aspects of marketing and be adaptable to all tasks required. You will also need to be available to start work immediately.
This is a full time role, working hours of 37.5 hours.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive;
Responsibilities vary according to the time of year, and projects being undertaken, but include:
- Events – Co-ordination of customer meetings and attendance at consumer and trade events throughout the year – managing accommodation / tickets / equipment / literature / graphic preparation etc. Attendance at shows where required (may require time spent out of the office / overnight stays).
- Literature – content and stock management, proof-reading, distribution of catalogues to customers, briefing of new requirements to Marcom team.
- Websites – Content management i.e. undertaking content reviews and briefing updates to Marcom on both websites (consumer and dealer facing); managing promotions.
- Advertising – Coordinate advert creation and maintaining the advertising schedule, as agreed with the respective marketing manager. Ensuring copy deadlines are met, through artwork production requests and copy distribution. Undertaking and reporting on response analysis. Monitoring competitor advertising activity.
- PR/Social media – work with the Marketing Manager to agree, plan and deliver (possibly in conjunction with external agencies) PR projects and social media plan.
- Point of Sale / Display – Stock management, managing customer requests and distribution, ordering of promotional goods and clothing ranges. Management of Marketing Toolbox programme.
- Market Research – Undertaking competitor pricing and product research as required by Marketing Managers. Submission of AEA product sales statistics and share performance tracking / reporting, identifying any evident trends and opportunities with the Sales and Marketing team
- Direct Marketing – Production of email campaigns using Dotmailer platform; response analysis of DM campaigns.
- Promotions – Development of promotional ideas and execution of agreed plan plus management of deviations file.
- Sales Support – Assist in co-ordination of product launches, production of presentations for training / customer days. Administering dealer co-op marketing support claims through the respective Marketing Manager. Liaising with Finance to issue year end credits.
- General office administration and support
- Letter writing, mail merging, campaign mailing, filing etc. to support the department
- Marketing purchase order and invoice logging, spend tracking, denied party checking, new vendor creation
- Responding to dealer / distributor / sales team requests for marketing materials, inc. sales literature, images and Point of Sale material
- Answering general Marketing email and answerphone messages
- Any other duties as necessary to support the business
