We are currently seeking a professional Security Guard for our award winning client who have an established portfolio of properties and are one of the most exciting and talented growth businesses within the property sector.
This interesting and challenging opportunity will involve ensuring that properties are secure and that any issues or problems are resolved promptly and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible, competent and calm under pressure, they will also have the desire to ‘go the extra mile’ to provide a high level of customer service, whilst always maintaining a safe environment for tenants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Keep the premises secure by carrying out regular patrols; inspecting buildings and access points and permitting and restricting entry.
- Manage the overall security of the building and ensure doors, windows and gates are safely secured.
- Answer alarm calls and investigate any disturbances, calmly and professionally.
- Completing reports of daily activities and any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, anti-social behaviour and the presence of any unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences.
- Notify the police or fire departments in cases of emergency, or disturbances.
- Resolve complaints and problems and manage any requests from tenants.
- Coordinate building maintenance and repairs.
- Carry out ad hoc administrative duties related to building maintenance.
