Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an eLearning Coordinator with experience of Moodle to coordinate and maintain category and course creation from content in the Virtual Learning Environments.

This role is working for a professional organisation who sets standards for training throughout their sector and officer 250 qualifications through 600 training providers. 

Reporting to the Product Development Manager this is a maternity cover which is likely to be up to 12 months and will be homebased.  You will need to travel throughout the UK on occasions and to their Head Office in Hertfordshire.

 Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • VLE Co-ordination
    • Responsibility for installation of content/creation of course and category structure/security within the Moodle platforms.
    • Category and course creation and session setup
    • Checking links, layout, format and proofing content/functionality.
    • Uploading and install SCORM and GIFT packages and questions
    • User management and uploads
    • Improvement of site usability for both faculty and students
    • Reporting on appropriate areas of site activity
    • Problem solving when errors occur
    • Updating plug-ins
    • Liaise with IT/eLearning and assist with full system updates
    • Edit and add media when necessary
    • Check, update and maintain the site Theme
  • Liaison with Centres with responsibility for tracking renewal status and invoicing
  • Enquiries relating to eLearning systems
  • Provide co-ordination support to the eLearning/product team
  • Responding to customer and stakeholder communication for all queries to ensure the IMI Customer Service standards are adhered to.
  • Supporting the Head of Product Development in the delivery of project and departmental objectives as required.
  • Contact for external and internal customers, resolving quality issues and implements changes to courses within agreed time scales
  • Proof reading content and checking functionality
  • Performance reporting requirements as directed by the business.
  • Accurately record and report on departmental deliverables on a monthly basis.
  • Check and record engagement on the CRM system.
  • Logging issues with eLearning systems and take corrective actions as appropriate.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Three Years+ of Moodle operation in a learning technology environment.
  • Experienced at raising payment invoices and credits notes through bespoke invoicing system.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a team effectively.
  • Ability to take on multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
  • Proficient in using Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A systematic and efficient approach to co-ordination, administration, accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent telephone technique
  • Ability to work as key player in a small team, relate to and enthuse others
  • Awareness of diversity and equality legislation
  • Ability to self-motivate and work in a homebased environment

Qualifications:

  • GCSE grade A*-C in English & Maths and IT or equivalent
  • Driving licence (to attend UK meetings, as required)
