This will be temporary position.
General description
As a Billing Clerk you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of billing processes within the business. You’ll be working within our business support team and helping raise and post invoices. You’ll also be working with our team Credit Controller to resolve queries and issue credit notes.
Core duties and responsibilities
- Manage the outstanding sales balances falling due
- Using our invoicing platform and core systems to produce invoices
- Managing invoicing queries in conjunction with our team Credit Controller
- Monitoring and maintenance of sales ledger
Other duties and responsibilities
- Such duties as directed by a Manager as may from time to time be reasonably required
- Cover finance colleagues’ role(s) during periods of annual leave
Person specification
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills; including VLookups, concatenations and other formulas
- Team player and excellent communicator at all levels
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Knowledge and skills: essential
- IT literate – Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision and prioritise workloads
- Organisational and administrative skills
