We are looking for two customer focussed, confident individuals to work within the Project Development Team to identify and track new and existing project opportunities for the division.  They are both contract positions, one covering maternity leave (12 months approx) and the other an internal secondment (approx 6 months).

Duties will include:

• Research, source and qualify new construction project opportunities for the sales teams
• Provide project tracking and project intelligence on existing projects, through research and pro-active outbound calls
• Researching new markets and potential customer bases
• Provide reports to support performance measurement to the Project Development Manager
• Network and build relationships with new and existing customers
• Constantly build on market knowledge and customer relationship understanding

Experience and Competences required:

• Previous background and sound knowledge of customer service
• Confidence, pro-active outbound telephone manner
• Construction experience would be an distinct advantage
• Self-motivate, driven, methodical, personal, optimistic and resourceful
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking skills and the ability to meet set deadlines
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
• IT Literate and competent user of MS packages - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Educated to a good GCSE level or equivalent inclusive of English and Math's.
