A fantastic client of ours based in Harlow are looking for a Treasury Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12 month contract. With a salary of £25,000 per annum you will be working within a friendly and supportive team.
Main Accountabilities will be;
Creating and processing weekly payment runs for multiple entities using multiple currencies
Completing bank reconciliations for multiple banks and currencies
Using Blackline software for monthly reporting
Prepare GRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt) reports for controllers
Mid-month intercompany reconciliations
Month End closing processes including; interest calculations, loans, foreign exchange (FX) processing, miscellaneous billings and inter-company transfers and settlements.
Continuing and building relationships with local auditors, banks and finance group
Preparing weekly cash flow for the organisation
Assisting Head of finance (SSC) /Finance Director on special projects
Assisting with the maintenance/development of sound accounting systems and continuous improvement to current processes and procedures
Contributing to best practice within Finance
AAT – Completed and/or part way through (would be beneficial)
Experience: Prior experience of working in a large financial environment
SAP system experience
Intermediate level Excel including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
