Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to work for a market leading and award winning Media and Events company, based in Essex.

The right candidate will have at least 12 months experience as a Management Accountant and will have the ability to work well in a busy, long-standing team.

We are looking for someone that is confident, independent and not afraid to speak up. The right candidate will be able to see where a team is stretched and have the initiative to step up where help is needed.

Skills required of Management Accountant:

• Good prioritisation skills
• Ability to meet monthly deadlines
• Ability to work accurately under pressure

Other skills required of Management Accountant:

• Qualifications are essential if experience isn’t extensive (CIMA or ACCA preferred)
• Experience in a Media / multi project / product business is preferable
• Strong Excel skills (essential) and experience using SAGE 200 (preferable)

Main responsibilities of Management Accountant:

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts including an initial review.
• Collate information for other board reports and other ad hoc reporting
• Assisting the junior members of the team
• Preparing some of the more difficult P&L and balance sheet reconciliations including:

-       Revenues

-       Licence fees

-       Accruals

-       Inter-company
