This is an exciting opportunity for a HR/Business Analyst to join a progressive and growing organisation who are the UK leaders in their field. This role will appeal to a candidate who enjoys analysing and manipulating data and producing reports, it will involve mapping key HR activites and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to establish consistency in HR reporting throughout the group.
Duties and responsibilities
- Systems Administrator for a variety of systems including the Group’s HR system
- Producing and analysing data using reports from the Group HR system and other data resources to populate HR reports and scorecards
- Utilising the Group HR system to develop and roll out management information dashboards
- Run, circulate and report on factor scores
- Create and build accurate reports to enable the business to analyse effectively
- Run, circulate and report on HR and recruitment KPI’s, including the provision of trend analysis
- Run, circulate and report on the demographics of our workforce
- Responsible for the Group gender data reporting and analysis
- Responsible for all Group headcount reports across all brands, including starters, leavers and transfers
- Provision of HR KPI and key reports for the Group Board pack (including weekly and monthly headcount reports)
- Oversee and assist in the maintenance of data integrity of the HR system; ensure that it is a trusted source of information by the business
- Produce the monthly elements of the HR balance scorecard
- Produce ad hoc specific reports as requested
- Production and updating of all organisational charts including the system construction of the hierarchy
- Ad hoc support to the HR team and business, as required, including during holiday and absence leave.
- Collaborate within the HR team to promote data governance to help improve data quality and insights
Data Protection and Information Security
- Ensure that you and any team members adhere to the requirements of the Data Protection Act in respect of confidentiality, security and disclosure of personal data
- Ensure that team members comply with the Group Information Security Management (ISMS) policies and procedures

- Ability to work on own, as well as part of a team
- Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: essential
- IT literate with experience in using Microsoft systems and proficiency with databases & HR systems Intermediate to advance level of experience of Microsoft Excel using pivots/graphs/formulas
- Experience working within an analytical role
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and project manage
- Excellent attention to detail and naturally analytic in the approach to day to day work
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: desirable
- Experience within an HR discipline desirable
- Degree qualification - ideally in an analytical data intensive discipline CIPD membership
- Understanding of statistical analysis to predict outcomes is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manipulate data through IT systems and ability to learn new technology

- Previous administration and office work in a HR systems or Analytics role
