Reporting to the IT Manager, this role will be responsible for identifying business Finance and user requirements, developing and submitting plans for the implementation of Finance and IT projects as well as providing business analysis and product assessments to assist in the strategic planning and implementation of Finance initiatives.

 Key responsibilities for the Business Analyst / Project Manager

• Managing the successful implementation of projects
• Working to a delivery programme
• Produce and maintain project documentation
• Ensuring that robust change requests procedures are followed
• Preparing business cases
• Producing regular project reports
• Liaising with internal stakeholders
• Managing suppliers for key system support contracts
• Monitoring supplier performance

You will need:

• Experience of managing significant IT projects
• Preparing business specifications for key Finance IT systems
• Proven working knowledge of defining user requirements and new ways of working.
• Application of logical analytical expertise to identify key attributes of business systems.
• Strong influencing and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Personal drive and initiative combined with excellent team working capabilities.
