Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company based in Epping.
General description:
You will be working within the finance team on day to day incoming work.
Core duties and responsibilities:
- Raise client invoices and credit notes
- Supply copy invoices when requested
- Complete AP Statement and other accounting reconciliations
- Send out monthly statements to clients
- Assist the Credit Controllers with aged debt
- Filing / Scanning
- Answering telephone queries
- Posting cash receipts
Other duties and responsibilities:
- Such duties as directed by your manager as may from time to time be reasonably required
Person specification
- Knowledge and skills: essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and administrative ability
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong numeracy skills
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to develop quickly and understand the company’s systems and procedures
- Good data input skills and attention to detail
Knowledge and skills: desirable
- Knowledge of our enforcement business structure
Qualifications: essential
- Good level of education to degree, BTEC, HND or equivalent.
Experience: desirable
- Finance experience
- Sage 200
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
